Short story by William Faulkner.

This was a book cover for photography, I picked this story because it seemed the most thumbs that I could come up with.
I went for kind of old fashioned way, to get what I wanted. And I liked the outcome

The story is about a high class woman who kills her lover with arsenic poison. She keeps him in her house, on a bed dressed in a suit, and surrounded by flowers( i think that was in there) where he decays, and becomes a corpse. Everybody in town thought that he just left, when she died, they discovered his body surround by flowers in a bed, which was just his skull.

So yeah, it is a very interesting short story^^
